I adore
smoothies for breakfast and rarely eat anything other
than that, so I was happy to add these delicious Acai
Berry Smoothie Bowls to the repertoire!
I never thought to use the Wyman's frozen

I make it constantly, and though I'm generally in too much of a rush on weekdays to eat anything much fancier
than a
smoothie or protein bar, I always look forward to a bowl of yogurt topped with the chocolately good stuff and fresh
berries on weekends.
The thing I really love about adding the whole cranberries to this
smoothie (rather
than juice) is you get the full amount of nutritional benefits that these little beautiful bright
berries have to offer.
Berries and greens are also higher in nutrition

than not, I top my
smoothie with something crunchy — homemade granola, chopped nuts, seeds,
berries, etc. — to slow down my eating and allow myself to actually chew something, which helps stimulate digestion.

Maqui
berries have more antioxidants
than almost any other fruit, and the fiber in oats add depth to this light, refreshing
smoothie.
I tend to be the type that prefers to freeze fresh fruit rather
than can it, but you can grab some canning jars and can these
berries for pies and even to use in
smoothies if you prefer.
Green
Smoothie ingredients in my freezer: previously fresh bag of spinach or kale from which I remove handfuls and stuff in the blender; flax seeds; unpeeled lemons quartered and tossed in a ziploc bag (much easier
than juicing and freezing cubes, etc.); bag of mixed
berries (I find if I put those in the blender first I'm not dealing with raspberry seeds in my teeth); peeled bananas tossed in a ziploc bag.
You need three ingredients and less
than three minutes to make these refreshingly scrumptious
smoothies thanks to the Wyman's Melon
Berry Pineapple with Cucumber
smoothie blend.
Other
than snacking on them plain, I like to have them with coconut yogurt, make a quick chia jam (you can use that recipe for any
berry), dip them in raw chocolate and freeze them for when my sweet tooth needs a hit, and, of course, freeze them for
smoothies!
It's true that this recipe contains more carbs / sugar
than I normally include in my
smoothies —
berries are much lower in sugar
than mangoes, peaches, and clementines.
