In some cases, you may find hotel points to be more valuable
than airline miles once you consider transfer and earning ratios.
Remember that Marriott Rewards points — like many hotel points — are much easier to earn
than airline miles for most people.
This is a great product for rewards credit card users who would rather earn cash
back than airline miles or other travel rewards.
When you consider the difficulty finding domestic saver award space with the lower price of fares, along with increased earning potential and redemption value of bank points, you have a good reason to spend bank points
rather than airline miles on domestic economy travel.
The flights you might take vary depending on home airport of course but I'll mention what I did here as it relates to a trend we've been observing the past few years whereby bank points are more
useful than airline miles for domestic flights.

Plus, I liked the flexibility of Arrival Miles — it often made more sense to redeem
them than airline miles or hotel points.
If you prefer to earn rewards as statement credits toward travel purchases, rather
than airline miles or hotel points, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus ® World Elite Mastercard ® could be a better choice.
This is why I highly recommend credit cards that earn American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, or SPG Starpoints rather
than airline miles.
