carrots — these are
actually richer in nutrients
than baby
carrots.
We
actually have them sorted into 2 containers by size, since my husband is so much bigger
than me that I can use a lot of little bags (ie, from «baby»
carrots, rice, etc) that he can't.
I can put away some raw
carrots, celery, and from time to time will enjoy a salad made of various mixed greens... but I eat vegetables more because I have a concept that they provide nutrients rather
than something I
actually WANT to eat.
This soup
actually has a bit more
carrots than tomatoes because I find that tomatoes can bring a strong flavor to recipes in large amounts, although they're one of my very favorite ingredients to use in many ways.
How could
carrots, a vegetable we thought was good for us
actually cause our blood sugar to raise even higher
than white pasta?
Of course, I could swap celery or
carrot sticks for chips; ultimately, I found that physical activity
actually works even better, engaging more
than just my jaw to burn through those uncomfortable, anxious feelings.
Actually, my
carrot and stick approach right now is more towards increasing monthly cashflow rather
than building up an arbitrary amount of savings — it's probably really contrarian, but I like knowing that I have a returning supply of funds each month (including the risk that comes with, I know), so I'm focusing on this first — it can also act as an emergency fund in the meantime.
In the «Fishing in Baku» reveal DICE made it look like we were to have a fast, frenetic and engaging storyline to power through but in the end it seems like the video was nothing more
than a
carrot being dangled in front of us to showcase how glorious it will look next gen.. What we
actually have is a campaign that is short and falls flat on its face with clichés and over the top scenarios.
