I used to be super against sneakers with anything other
than gym clothes when on the way to the gym.

gym clothes, you're in luck because the recent athleisure movement is making it easier
than ever to combine style and performance.
The thing that is tough, though — is given that my goal is 100 lbs down by 2/23 (my birthday)-- it is frustrating when I deviate slightly (had one night where I ate quite a bit of carmel corn, and the next day big stirfry with light soy sauce, etc)-- yet because I ate even more strict and cleaner
than before for 11 straight days before that (not one cheat day, processed food or meal), I gained 14 — yes 14 — pounds in water weight that two weeks later I have only lost 12 of, despite hitting the
gym 6 times since, and continuing to eat stellar (no cheat - low sodium days)-- Funny thing is, my
clothes are looser and looser --
Yesterday evening I was preparing my
clothes,
gym clothes, shower stuff, make up bag and all the other more unnecessary
than necessary stuff that I would need for today and in the great depths of my closet there was this gold buckle belt that I last wore here.
i always have a hard time resisting cute workout
clothes at actual
gyms / studios because they just look so much better up on the racks / walls
than they do online haha
Shopping for workout
clothes is WAY more fun
than going to the
gym:).
There is nothing that gets me more motivated
than getting new workout
clothes for the
gym.
For me, if I put on yoga
clothes that fit me well and look cute, I'm far more likely to hit the
gym or get outside for an extra walk
than if I put on a ratty old t - shirt and shorts.
And the workouts that students can get outside of school may be longer and more intense
than the workouts they can get during traditional P.E. classes, when valuable class time is spent changing in and out of
gym clothes and showering.
