than 40 minutes, keep well and yet taste like you have spent half the day in the kitchen (i do nt know about
kale, but spinach and chard definitely, we can write to each other 1:1) as a bonus, most of the recipes are vegan
too!
I didn't buy much as I couldn't carry
too much, but I got some beautiful organic purple
kale that I was told was picked yesterday morning in Kildare - can't get fresher
than that!
Just dropping in to share the kind of recipe you,
too, might make if you found yourself on a Thursday with a reasonably well stocked pantry, a lot of
kale (or other greens you picked up at the farmers» market back on Saturday), and two sweet Italian sausages that you bought from the very same farmers» market for way
too many dollars and which are threatening to go bad if you don't find a way to integrate them into this week's meal plan, a meal plan that has already incorporated more meat
than you really like to eat.
It's flexible,
too — use a different grain if you'd like (this is adapted from a rice dish in Vegan Express); use a different green other
than bok choy (
kale would work); and if you can't find edamame or prefer not to use these tasty green soybeans, substitute green peas.
with my limited
kale experience, i've found the russian
kale, lacy and pink eddged to be much more tender
than the dino
kale etc. in my school garden, the kids pick it and eat it straight from the garden, sweeter
too.

Let's face it — it's much easier to drink, rather
than eat
kale after all... and much faster
too!
