The only modification I made to the recipe was that I sauteed the garlic in cold - pressed rapeseed oil rather
than vegan margarine, and then added just a little margarine to the food processor along with the other ingredients.
I opted for coconut oil rather
than my vegan margarine.

If these are going to sit out at a warmer temperature
than I'd suggest using the
vegan margarine as the melting point is slightly higher and there will be less of a chance of your baked goodies falling apart when handled.
This is because they have less fat
than waffles made with butter and dairy milk, and this particular
vegan waffle recipe, which has no oil, butter or
margarine at all, has even less fat
than most recipes.
