Granulated garlic and
onion are a little coarser
than powder and available at Sam's Club or any good spice house or restaurant supply place.

But considering I'm no great talent in the kitchen and this still came out better -
than - okay, here's what I did: Started with
onions, added garlic, mild curry paste (instead of
powder), and some chopped ginger.
2 tablespoons oil (butter / ghee / coconut oil) 1 small / medium
onion 1 clove garlic, chopped 3 medium / large golden beets, peeled and diced small (no more
than 1/2 inch) 2 medium / large carrots, peeled and sliced 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger 1 teaspoon curry
powder (more if you like it spicier) 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 3/4 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste) 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 4 cups chicken stock or vegetable stock 1 cup coconut milk
I made it with frozen zuchinni, spinach, garlic &
onion powder, and some dill, and a tsp of organic better
than bullion vegetable paste, and coconut cream.

The other brand in my cupboard is Publix brand Chicken Broth ingredients are: chicken stock, contains less
than 1 % of: salt, yeast extract, dextrose,
onion powder, clery juice concentrate, carrot juice concentrate,
onion juice concentrate, natural flavoring (I love that one: cool:), beta carotene (for color).
My biggest question is... if in the ingredient list it says, «Contains less
than 2 % of the following:» and
onion or garlic
powder is listed, is it likely a small enough content that it's OK?
You're aware that garlic and
onions are very dangerous to dogs, but you might not be aware that garlic and
onion in
powdered form are more toxic
than their whole, fresh forms.
Baby food such as «beef dinner» or «lamb dinner» is sometimes fed to cats as a tonic, but the
onion powder used to add flavour will do more harm
than good.
(Applegate Farms natural beef hot dog, for example, contains: Grass - fed Beef, water, and less
than 2 percent of sea salt, paprika, dehydrated
onion, spices, nutmeg oil, and celery
powder.)
