striker than him.he isn't WorldClass either Chicharito is also way better, he isn't a 30 - goal

I do hope that Arsene Wenger has a fantastic ace up his sleeve when it comes to getting a new
striker for Arsenal fans to cheer about in the current summer transfer window, but I must admit to living more in hope
than expectation and
as the days and weeks tick by my concern increases that it will be the same old story for us.

strikers are out of action though, it does not mean that the Gunners will have an easy task on Sunday
as it will make Mourinho even more negative
than usual and that means a massive blue bus and plenty of gamesmanship is heading to north London.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud
as the main cf and Welbeck
as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm
than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games

as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of play is ok for us but a
striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but

as the
striker, then Ramsey will start at right wing because Jack Wilshere who is better at right wing

than showing his back and trying hold game he plays
as outright
striker... and walcot is injured so he cant play upfront for time being and abt alexis to be honest i hv not seen him play
as a
striker much... and
as of now we hvnt sign a new
striker..
As his agent says, it's important that the club has at least two competitive quality strikers and unfortunately as Welbeck can not stay fit, it's very important that Arsenal look to invest in another striker to provide competition to Giroud, rather than replace the Frenchma

striker on the market.

than a few more millions in the bank.

as a
striker but it's not his best position, he's just not good enough and he's been with us long enough to know we should be looking for better options rather
than throwing # 140k a week at him.

striker we need and is not in the same category

strikers!
@john0711 it's people like you I don't get.Do you know Chamakh may have been a worse player
than Giroud but let's be honest Chamakh was a better finisher
than Giroud.Even him was labelled
as garbage.Can someone name a
striker with exception of Gervinho (man he was awfully out of this world) who played for Araenal who Giroud had better finishing
than.Giroud is to me part of Arsenal's worst finishers ever and please let's not deny it and note I considered only «finishing»..
If we had identified Vardy
as our
striker target we had more
than enough time to close the deal, fact we didn't is bad business and bad execution.
I am ready to admit right now that I didn't believe that he would fare better
as a
striker than a winger.
You say that «If we had identified Vardy
as our
striker target we had more
than enough time to close the deal, fact we didn't is bad business and bad execution»
THere may be more to that
than we know but it could just
as easily be true so we really can not use it to give us an indication of what is going on with the
striker and his La iga club.
In the long term, Liverpool will be hoping that Sturridge's injury problems are just bad luck rather
than any hereditary,
as the
striker fears.
we have at most 4 real quality outfielders i.e. players that other top european teams would take... ozil sanchez santi and kos... in my books you need 6... we are two short but worse the quality of others is lower
than needed... only bellerin coq and wilshere have that potential... and there are problems with each still... we should have put in bids in june for griezman kondogbia and the Burussia
striker as all could have been prized away with right bid plus players thrown in IMO... now its too late and wenger is in some weird gallic world of existential hope and denial and fans are just praying we do nt lose opening 2 matches for first time in over two decades... but no one is really confident against a team which is sure to finish around mid table...
this tells me that the financial prudence we have extolled
as prudent for the clubs future and for the adherence to FFP is really a smoke and mirrors situation we need a
striker (opinions differ to which one) we need cover for Le Coq (again opinions differ) and maybe we need one other in another area of the pitch, but if we don't get them we wont be better
than we were this year and we wont move closer to the real glory.
Forget about another
striker... France Football again confirmed that Wenger won't bring anybody
as Welbeck and Walcott are more
than enough in case Giroud does not perform (Sanchez could be use also... Arshavin played at the position too, so nothing is impossible with the «deluded one»).
No, Sanogo is terrible but Podolski I have reasons to believe that had he played the same amount of games
as Giroud he would have more goals
than Giroud, and Podolski was only played once, twice atmost
as a
striker last season, you can't really judge him on that.
if we buy a fast, clinical
striker in summer and a someone who's
as good or better
than coq, i think we can win.
Bale plays
as a shadow
striker, meaning he plays in the # 10 role but is more focused on driving at defenders with his pace and shooting (rather
than the Ozil - way of playing the # 10 role for example).
Campbell has it in him to be a
striker who can become a consistent force in the top tier and the deal seems like a pretty good deal all round
as Sir Alex has more
than enough firepower in his established front line and young back up's in Daniel Wellbeck and Federico Macheda.
I really do nt see any legs in any of these stories about any more transfers, The evidence is all there among all the smoke and mirrors, Look at the evidence, Wenger stated that Giroud would lead the line next season and
as such we have have only seen any real movement towards buying a
striker in the purchase of Asano who clearly is nothing more
than a shirt selling move.
If the Arsenal transfer rumours linking us with the Real Madrid and France
striker Karim Benzema are true, however, then Wenger is going to have to find some leverage other
than money because The Guardian is reporting that moneybags Man United are after him
as well.
The fact that you take Gibbs
as an example makes everything you say jut a pile of french frog poo, and you know it, same with Wilshere, like he was playing for Arsenal ever knowing that he spend more time at the bench
than in the pitch, Giroud is also a stupid example knowing that we had no other
striker besides him for years
More especially
as 1st choice... Costa, RVP, aguaro, sturriedge and even adebayo I.e top 6 team's
strikers are much better
than him.
We need a Top
striker capable of over 20 goals per season Lacazette or Lukaku or Icardi (not Mandzukic who is

than Giroud)

The Premier League is back this weekend and there are some interesting choices to be made with regards to picking your team, none more so

I think he was bought more
as a Welbeck replacement (2nd
striker)
than a Giroud replacement (1st
striker) and don't think we could have got any better
as a 2nd
striker for the price.
that has always been a lie, podolski got enough games every year and yep he was our best finisher but last time i checked football and wingers /
strikers had more to them
than only finishing, of course its a good thing but podolski didn't offer anything else
than having a shot when the ball fell to him or came to him, this would have been okay would he have been a
striker, but
as a
striker he never performed
We finally have a solid
striker (even if he will take some adaptation time I think he'll be true class) in Lacazette, we have solid center backs (once they are all healthy) much better
than in recent seasons, Giroud is our killer weapon off the bench rather
than the key we are relying on
as the main source of goals, Coquelin and Elneny are now midfield fall - back options rather
than Flamini (no offense Mathieu, I appreciated your efforts, just making the obvious comparison), two high quality keepers, etc..
It's not even Bradley or Altidore - I can stomach them
as Altidore most likely has a role to play
as our 3rd

With Walcott's form ever inconsistent and The Ox's injury concerns every season, it would be no surprise to see that Wenger play Lucas on the wing, rather
