A recent debate on strategic voting between Erin Weir and Matthew Bergbusch prompts me to wonder the extent to which liberals are more progressive
than conservatives in the federal political arena.
Most Liberal Democrat activists want the party to support Labour rather
than the Conservatives in government after the next general election, a poll has found.
Whisper it quietly but Labour's conference in Brighton next week might emerge more united
than the Conservatives in Manchester the week after.
