I didn't like the position of the delete key — I kept mistaking it for a return key — but the keyboard was otherwise better
than the default Android one, with predictive text options and the ability to handwrite with the pen if you tap on the spacebar.

Generally I find the iPhone / iPod touch keyboard to be better for accuracy

than those of the Xoom and the T - Mobile G - Slate, but it still lacks the natural skin tones and color balance of the Apple iPad 2's display.

Android browser will continue to sync your web pages, allow you to have up to 16 tabs open at the same time, as well as, opt to save the page for reading offline or in a desktop view rather
than mobile (set as

than one form of payment, including credit and debit cards, but in most cases you have to select one of them as the «
default.»
The
default e-mail app for
Android is fine but K - 9 Mail does a better job if you are trying to manage more

So, the HTC Camera app makes the cut, because it's more flexible
than Android's alternative, but Google Photos is the

Most people shouldn't have to back up their
Android phone or tablet manually —
Android's
default backup features should be more
than good enough.
The Moto 360's display isn't always on by
default, requiring more effort to check the time, and its battery life is less
than half that of the Pebble's on a good day, despite the improvements Google has made to
Android Wear's efficiency since launch.
The two shortcut buttons
default to launching fitness tracking and
Android Pay, and having them there made me use those features more often
than I might have otherwise.
You can also play with built - in features, processes and apps and add more when that's required — even apps and features that can not be found on the
default Android software or from other sources

Having lost its «Hey Cortana» feature on
Android some months ago, and having dismissed anything other
than Microsoft's own services as
defaults on PC, it certainly seems to be moving in the wrong direction.
Namely, Google chose to go with a relatively narrow color gamut by
default, so the colors look more muted
than Android users are used to.
Perhaps Google's advice is easier said
than done, especially for the casual gamers in the crowd, but disabling the
default Android browser and installing Chrome, Dolphin or another full web browser is good advice regardless the issues.
The software keyboard is still far better
than the
defaults on iOS and
Android, and Microsoft even added a tracing option that let you swipe to write words like many

than the rather restrictive
default Android option.
