It struck me, as I watched dozens of ticket holders get turned away from the oversubscribed event, that there was perhaps no better symbol of the speculative mania we've been witnessing in recent weeks
than the sight of 70 would - be attendees sadly zip up their rain
jackets, reverse course, and trudge home from an event that, not
so long ago, would have been attended by few people.
Even on hot days the city seems a bit cooler
than other areas and conference rooms tend to be a little cold
so pack a cardigan or light
jacket just in case.
It looks
so comfy and
so much less bulky

But it's labeled a rain
jacket so it's GOT to be better
than nothing, right?
Besides being
so much more comfortable
than traditional
jackets, silk robes strike the ideal balance of sexy and sophisticated.
The size XS
jacket fit fine but wouldn't have allowed for layering underneath,
so I ended up holding onto the charcoal
jacket (both colors are great but I think I prefer the charcoal a bit more
than the slate).
I was hesitant about that too but I think because the jeans are
so much darker
than the
jacket it works.
Both leather and denim
jackets almost never leave the runway, and look
so much cooler
than cardigans on those chilly night - outs.
The weather in Vancouver is a lot colder
than it was in London,
so I've been playing with some warm ideas, like layering this bralette top from the Dynamite Spring collection over a button down for a colorblock effect and pairing it with my favorite leather
jacket as of late (and I'm realizing it's almost a full Dynamite look)
Now, I know there are many companies besides J.Crew that makes these kinds of
jackets,
so I might look into one of those options rather
than splurging on this one.
While this
jacket looks pink to me in the photo, it's a «frosted taupe»
so I think it may be more tan
than pink.
So anytime you are struggling to style a turtleneck, throw on a
jacket or cardigan and have the cardigan be a different color
than the turtleneck.

jackets, trousers and skirts purchased over the years and they have all worn
so well which is more

Seriously though, you look awesome in a biker

so does Patti Smith, and they're both a lot older
than you.
It's a little bit colder here,
than in Germany,
so I went for more «wintery» look, wearing my skinny jeans with a turtle neck, over-knee-boots and a leather
jacket.
Paris was warmer
than usual
so tunic length black knit
jacket worked well.
This
jacket has a truly petite fit, and the arms are quite short on me,
so I think I'm a better match for a cropped
jacket than a petite style.
Leather
jackets do feel
so much better
than the kind from forever 21.
Now that it's «officially» Spring, it feels far more seasonally appropriate to wear heavy layers under
jackets than the other way around —
so break out the trenches, bombers and anoraks, and pack up the bulky stuff!
Anyway, this
jacket is awesome —
so much better quality
than I expected.
And doesn't the lady in the grey - green
jacket look ever
so chic... it's a more subdued colour palette
than what I would choose for myself, but I think she looks gorgeous, and I do love the little pop of colour in her eyeglasses.
But then we moved to a quixotic land where my Michelin Man puffer
jackets are happily useless,
so I no longer had the cold to dread; and shortly thereafter a very important fall birthday was added to our calendars that B2 and I are way more excited about celebrating
than we've ever been about our own.

They are by Margaret Elizabeth and they're just as versatile (if not more

This bold, «Cookie Monster» blue, furry
jacket from H&M is not only warm and cuddly, it is a major statement piece (more
so than the red, in my opinion).
I think that «punk» accessories are
so mainstream these days, leather
jacket included, that wearing, say, a regular outfit with a leather
jacket and a studded belt does not come across as any punkier
than the next girl, which is why I would insist on getting funky hair.
But I knew I couldn't think of a better occasion
than wearing a classic tweed
jacket in Paris during Fashion Week,
so I had to resist my sartorial callings.
These are springy looking yet still are a bit warmer
than a sleeveless maxi
so even when the afternoon hours start to cool, the maxi with long sleeves can take you from day to night and is also easy to throw on a denim

so it may be time for me to start saving for a new one.
It is a little more feminine
than the pieces I normally wear,
so I toughened it up with my leather
jacket.
Seriously, I try to wear a little tank every day just
so I can keep my new leather
jacket on for more
than 5 minutes.
The
jacket is warm enough for windy fall days but won't be enough for winter,
so consider this more of a spring / fall
jacket than a three season piece.
The quilting also makes it much warmer
than a regular bomber
jacket as well,
so that makes it perfect for winter!
Denim is stiff and thick,
so few
jackets will truly hug your figure, but the ones on the racks now will be a bit more fitted
than many vintage styles.

jacket is actually surprisingly warmer

so I am happy to report this piece is both fashionable and functional.
