There will be more zombies in one instance
than the previous games with more emphasis on the individual variety in zombies, ranging from physiological changes to cosmetic ones.
The spirit and charming writing that made the series worthwhile in the first place is back in full force, along with gameplay that provides more
challenge than any previous game in the series.
As per usual, they're not showing us much before release, but they have admitted the game world will be
bigger than the previous game and Red Dead Redemption combined.
However, in the end it's much
easier than previous games, because you can carry many more healing items to be used during combat, whereas previously you were restricted to one.
This means that every time you play the game you'll get a completely different
experience than the previous game, and it definitely adds a higher replay value to it.
The gameplay mechanics as much more simplified
than previous games from the developer, which is welcome in certain aspects.
Things like the degree of difficulty can be chosen from the beginning, and this makes it so much easier to
play than the previous game.
With quick time events being far less
prevalent than previous games, it would've been nice to see a little more variety in them when they do pop up.
This is yet another new chapter, though one that actually has a more fulfilling conclusion and set -
up than previous games.
The latest addition to the game series, No. 15, was released in 2016 and has a darker and more realistic
atmosphere than previous games in the series.
We also see more of the game's fresh take on combat, with a slower pace and a greater emphasis on striking at the right
moment than previous games went for.
The graphics have also had an upgrade since the previous iteration with the character models looking much more realistic and less
flat than the previous game.
Although to me the combat felt a little
easier than previous games, it does sometimes spike when you get larger groups of mixed enemies.
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, unlike the first game, has environments that are a lot
larger than the previous games allowing you more than one way to get around.
