Publishers are generally setting the retail prices for the eBooks at the same level (or sometmes roughly 10 % lower)
than the print version of the same book.
Ebooks are usually — and increasingly — priced significantly lower
than the print version of the book, so if you're publishing to both formats, you need to consider the differential you're going to create between the formats.
Therefore, there is really no reason why an ebook should be ever priced higher
than a print version of the same work.

version of the Equus has styling similar to that

print versions: Expect e-book prices to rise.
First, you can lend, give away, or resell a
printed book, but not an e-book — so the e-book's overall value is, in reality, less
than that
of the bound
version.
