Deep down, we all know that modern superhero
movies are operating with even lower dramatic stakes
than Star
Wars or James Bond
movies: beloved characters rarely stay dead after they've been killed, and no plot development, no matter how grave, is irreversible, so there's no possible way that what seems to be happening on the screen could really be happening.
His scenes make Infinity
War an uncompromising sci - fi epic that has more in common with Empire Strikes Back and Conan the Barbarian
than Joss Whedon's Avengers
movies.
However, it would be far better for parents to show their teens the original Star
Wars film series rather
than paying the extra money to go to the theater to see this
movie.
Admittedly, the «Back to the Future» and «Forrest Gump» director's most recent films have been more distancing
than enthralling, but his latest, the World
War II romance «Allied,» is one of his more human and tangible
movies yet.
In light of all this, it's inevitable (and in no way a spoiler to reveal here) that not every character makes it out alive, and that if you come away from the
