The pieces all have designs cut into the felt, which sounds a bit like someone took a pair of scissors to a
wool rug, but upon inspection the lines are all sharp and clean, making the felt pieces look modern rather
than messy.
The Jute
rugs with chenille in their name are softer
than the others, but still not like a nice thick
wool rug.
Cotton and natural -
wool are safer choices
than synthetic
rugs, with their heavy VOC loads.
It is also
wool, so it cleans well, wears well, and sheds some (but a lot less
than my other
rugs when they were new).
Surely a
wool rug is less likely to hold up to years of wear and tear
than a
rug made out of synthetic, man made fibers, right?

than something synthetic, but for the most part, a
rug made of
wool is designed to last a long time without needing to be replaced.
