Having said that, the beach in front of the Marriotts can still get crowded during peak times (especially in front of the larger Surf Club) and the competition for a «palapa» (
thatched beach umbrella) in a prime location is fierce year - round (be prepared to get up early and wait in line for those premium water - side palapas).

beach (which you've already seen in the photos of the view from the room) dotted with Palapas (the
thatched umbrellas) that you can book (either for free from 7 am on the day in question or for a fee if you want to book in advance).
