They would be great to add frozen to a lunch box, they would be
thawed by lunch time.

I just want to say, a million years ago when I packed my very first
lunch box for my oldest child's first day of preschool, I followed the common advice to include a frozen juice box which would keep the whole thing cool yet be
thawed enough to drink
by lunchtime.
You can even freeze a juice carton to use and
by lunch time it should be
thawed out.
Additionally, if you freeze a tubed yogurt, juice box, or (not quite full — needs expansion room) water bottle and include that, it will be
thawed by lunchtime and will keep the
lunch even colder.
I buy mine in bulk and batch cook them, freeze them in an airtight and then take them out & place them in her
lunch box ok... or mine LOL the night before and they are
thawed and ready for consumption
by lunch time.
