on with full
backs n d.m was also hoping ozil or santi would be

then capable of beating them.
Sitting
on the
bench, score a goal and
then back to the
bench is quite difficult to deal with for an attacker.
Exactly, the ones who don't look like they have the weak mentality get sided out for no reason, Sanchez was scoring for fun when he was free to play in the centre and the wings, but he was outshining Giroud so the manager restricted him, Ramsey was scoring for fun when he was allowed to shoot outside the box and had players supporting him at the
back but now the manager tells him to play Cazorla role instead, when Ox was new he was dribbling past City defenders for fun but
then he was
benched for Walcott who can't even dribble past one defender, now we have Campbell who always impresses
on the pitch but the manager
benches him for a player with no confidence.
Come the other year when Arsenal went the whole season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they played few games, and sometime
on the
bench, as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go
back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal,
then the other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal team, he went again to Barcelona, he was never given some games, I think he only played few games as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona,
then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he played some games but not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was not looking like a star player anymore, he decided to go to America,
then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he played for two seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come
back to Arsenal, by
then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea,
then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always
on the banch, and never been
on first eleven,
then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go
back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do not take players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up not playing at all but when playing for Arsenal they used to be star players.
I almost feel like I'd rather try to start Okafor at the four (put Saric
back on bench where he probably belongs) and see if he and Embiid can work and

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead
on the left and Ox
on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a
back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied
on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years
back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but
on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put
on a weekly contract
then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name
on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy
on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players
on their
bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
You say Wenger doesn't trust his
bench and plays the same players without rotating (causing injuries),

giroud, lecoq, are gud backups to hve in the squad but not a first team player for a team wanting to challenge for epl.coq has got to improve slightly
on the ball but off the ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is enough for us.we need a very clinical guy not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud option to hve
on the
bench but if we scout someone younger and better than him
then I think we can sell him for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed as a player.what I find shocking is bellerin
back up is jenkinson worth a team challenging for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there than fool ourselves and next season we pay for mistakes again.
if you can't play your
back to goal
then you belong
on the
bench, hold up play is much better than direct play.
Yet If Arsenal want the best out of him
then Wenger must show serious trust in his abilities even after Xhaka's return because part of Elneny's slight turbulence in form this season has been due to the addition of Xhaka who's presence seriously affected Elneny's moral and those who deep into things would've noticed the difference between last years Elneny (prior to Xhaka's acquisition) and this year's Elneny with majority of games Elneny coming off the
bench yet the very last few games he started before the AFCON have boosted his confidence
back and that very much reflected
on his last performances before leaving to an extent that surprised quite a few!!

then come

When Elneny joined he was full of confidence and that's how you assess a player when he's at his very best otherwise a guy like Ozil will be considered trash taking by his last performances yet everyone goes
back to his memory books to assess Ozil and the same should happen with Elneny who won
back to
back player of the month when he first joined and scored that screamer against Barcelona yet his all round contribution that made the headlines
then came Xhaka
on board and that is exactly when Elneny's form started slightly dipping because simply his confidence was shaken by finding himself a regular
bench warmer instead of a regular like he was before Xhaka joining and I don't think Wenger addressed this psychological issue with Elneny or even noticed it probably because he had enough issues of his own.
then it's
back on the
bench for you sonny!
I said I hope Coquelin has a good game against City and shoves your negative comments up your Arse he did that and not me but 99 percent said of arsenal fans agreed as for watching football to be an expert no wonder you can't see a good player Ya have to play the game to have any idea of quality if I'm a sensationalist
then great I had faith in him, and what's wrong with playing for Charlton to get experience Ya don't get it sitting
on the
bench again you know shit about how clubs use there players Enough of this
back an forth crap I will wait till the end of season to see who was right about him CB
To an alternate topic of discussion i will just like to point out n remind arsenal fans dat ARSENAL is a top top club and shud be compared to only the likes of man u, chelsea, barca, real, bayern n maybe liverpool, we hav acceptd medocrity 4 far 2 long, finishing 4th n elimination in d 2nd stage of UCL is a failure, we shud be aiming for top2 and d semi finals of UCL... wenger has taking us so low... after d FA cup win we shud hav sign 3 world class players n bloster our squad, if we hav per, olivier, ramsey
on the
bench as
back up 4 world class players
