Some
of them are part
of my
life (my sister, my family
of friends, my university professors, ladies I collaborate with) and others part
of me forever (my mother and grandmother); and
then there are also those who I have never actually met, but make an impact all the same: inspiring food
bloggers and photographers whose work and kindness I admire and aspire to, poets and activists, comedians and writers who make me feel so damn proud to be a woman.
Even though I
live two hours away, I figured that tickets, food and the room would be well into the $ 1,000's so I put it on the back burner — with my daughter heading off to college, I have to carefully consider my finances these days... and
then, out
of he blue, I won a free ticket from Style Collective, a fashion
blogger's group I belong to (If you are interested in more information or joining, I placed an affiliate link button in the sidebar.)

blogger tends to be really enthusiastic at times, cranking out dozens
of posts in a month and
then life happens and they don't create anything.
Depending on the author and the blog, coverage may consist
of any
of the following: book review, Q&A (either posted or
live) or book giveaway and
then I'm sure some
bloggers have gotten creative and come up with other ideas.
Bloggers and financial writers will describe Infinite Banking, and
then proceed to show whole
life rates
of return and state that they would prefer buying term insurance and investing the rest in a low cost index fund.
Then there is the Chicagoland
blogger known only as Erin, who posted earlier this month that «somebody actually put me on a jury» and «i can't wait to decide the
lives and deaths
of men tomorrow.»
