There are
atheists and practical
atheists as per theological scholars, both historic and modern.
There are the odds of any gods being real to begin with, then the odds that yours is the correct god, then the odds that this god feels about
atheists as you do, and then the odds that this god supports the kind of fate for us that you support.
Atheists, the bottom line is this: if
there is no God, no afterlife and
as a result of that no standard of behavior, your arguments to disprove him are pointless.
Dawkins argues that while
there appear to be plenty of individuals that would place themselves
as «1» due to the strictness of religious doctrine against doubt, most
atheists do not consider themselves «7» because atheism arises from a lack of evidence and evidence can always change a thinking person's mind.
As for Christians,
there were a number who did advocate things like wanting
atheists prosecuted or saying he (one poster) would run them over with his car.
To the
atheists who say Christians
as a whole are stupid and living in the Iron Age etc.,
there is no need for statements like that.
The definition of someone
as being an
atheist does not mean that they KNOW
there it not a god.

there were
as many unicorn believers and churches dedicated to them, you
as a believer, and I
as an
atheist would be protesting the sheer volume of unicorn nonsense.
Atheists: I know many
there are many people that practice religion just by fanaticism, I've seen many people in my opinion stupid (excuse the word) praying to saints hopping to solve their problems by repeating pre-made sentences over and over, but
there are others different, I don't think Religion and Science need to be opposites, I believe in God, I'm Catholic and I have many reasons to believe in him, I don't think however that we should pray instead of looking for the cause and applying a solution,

as far
as I can tell) useless for anything but giving atheism rhetorical cover from being implicated in
atheists» atrocities.
So while
there aren't
as many
Atheist charity groups, that in no way means that individual
Atheists don't donate.
I can't speak for Sam, but I can tell you
as an
atheist, I have not given up the possibility that
there might be something behind the curtain, but that given the current evidence both scientific and logical, it seems rather remote.
Atheists, if you are so confident that
there is no such thing
as God, then why are you so intimidated by Him, to the point that you feel compelled to turn others against Him?

atheists and agnostics are just
as prone to human frailties

there are different types of
atheists, some simply don't believe in a «creator» or higher authority, but others use atheism
