If only the media spent this much
time and effort trying to get to the bottom
of at least a few
of the real stories out
there over the last
couple years instead
of crap like this.
There's been enough complaints about service
time and Acuna's situation already (as well as comparisons to Kris Bryant's situation), and what's seemed to
at least hold it off has been the fact that it's only for a
couple of weeks.
The ones around here alternate among the various community centers, so that
there's generally
at least one a day, open for a few hours
at a
time, with a low admission fee
of a
couple bucks.
Every day
there comes
at least one moment when I would like to lock
at least one
of my kids in his or her room for an indefinite amount
of time... A
couple days ago I read a story (http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/ohio-teen-collapses-call-duty-marathon-181245943.html) about a 15 - year - old kid who partook in a video game marathon.
Even if
there are only 30, it is a safe bet
at least 10 are a
couple of times bigger than Pluto, and the biggest one could be the size
of Mars.
There's no set
time that you should leave it, but it should be
at least a
couple of weeks to a month, ideally more.
There were
times, when a TV set, a fridge, a car or a washin machine lasts a live long (
at least my grandparents told me so) but today, we throw away everything in a
couple of month, when the new toy only has some more lights...
The most pets you ever had

at least a few horses, a
couple of dogs, barn cats and rabbits.
Maybe a hybrid system where you can try a game for 30 minutes for free to see if
there are major ergonomy issues in the feel
of the game that make it absolutely worthless to you, and then a 3 dollars extended tryout for 150 minutes, so that
at least the devs gets something for that
time you spent on their game (after all you still spent a
couple hours on it), while the player does not have to commit the full $ 50.
At the very
least,
there should be more than a
couple of shipments this
time around!
There were also a few
times that I encountered a
couple of enemies who were stuck in the environment or who just wouldn't die who despite shooting them
at least 20
times.
There is a lot
of evidence already
of behavioural «adaptation» (
at least changes in spatial and temporal distributions [e.g., flowering
time]-RRB- to the last
couple of decades» warmth.
In addition to the above - highlighted issues with centralised funding (i.e. not enough
of it, too much
time chasing the money and not enough doing the research), the academic system
at present tends to support relatively «conservative» research proposals — because
of the «publish or perish» ethos, most proposals will tend to be written knowing what the answer will be, and in the knowledge that
there are
at least a
couple of publishable papers
at the end.
