Unfortunately,
there are no official answers
given to us — meaning that the
airlines and hotels do not
give out point and mile valuations.

What
airline / hotel credit card programs are
there to maximize my benefits, while at the same time,
giving me good opportunity to share the perks with my salespeople (especially the high producers)?
It's worth noting that
there are taxes and fuel surcharges of roughly $ 400, though in the grand scheme of things I'd say it's still an excellent value
given how unattainable Singapore
Airlines first class previously was.
There's no doubt that the
airline's executives crunched the numbers and worked out that, even if they halved the number of SWUs they hand out and halved the number of redeemable miles they
give away, AAdvantage members like me don't really have another viable option while our travel patterns remain as they are.

give the program a needed boost!

there, the points can be transferred to

giving you the best value.
There's a caveat that you pass up on the complimentary upgrades United and Continental
give to elites on their own flights, but otherwise, this is a great way to get the benefits of gold status on Star Alliance
airlines sooner.
I said that
there is no option to earn
airline miles like you had with the Double Dip, but they do
give you the option to exchange Hilton Honors points for
airline miles on a number of partners, but the exchange rate are so horrible, I can't imagine anyone getting good value out of taking this path.
