Even though publishing both
print and ebook
versions of a book is financially and technologically more feasible
than it's ever been in history,
there is one case where ebooks might be a better choice.
I like
printing a few hardcover
versions through Lulu (because it's easier and cheaper to set up
than Lightning Source) and taking some media kit shots of me in a bookstore (doesn't have to be an official «book signing» — you can even put a few on the bestseller shelf and take pictures of them
there).
Without a doubt, I «read» far more carefully when listening to a book
than with a
print version, as
there's no possibility of skipping or speed reading.

there has to be editing, get a professional cover done and yes, lay it out — don't do the template Amazon
