The front of the phone doesn't appear to have
thick bezels on the sides of the display, with the top and bottom bezels significantly reduced compared to the current models.
Though the Zenfone 5 sports an 18:9 display, we still see
thick bezels on the sides.
Not exact matches
The tablet has thin
bezel on three
sides but a very
thick bezel at the bottom.
A
thick black
bezel surrounds the 7 - inch display
on the front
side, with a volume rocker
on the left edge and headphone and microUSB ports at the top.
The screen size should be the same as the paperwhite's but with no
bezel (you hold it by its
sides like an iPhone), and
thick (approximately 3/8»
thick, like a paperback book), and with an ergonomic grip
on the
sides along with physical page turn buttons also
on the
sides.
The 10.1 - inch display is framed
on all
sides by a 1 - inch -
thick black
bezel that makes it easy to hold the device without your hand accidentally touching the screen.
From the front, the new Oasis looks like a slightly larger version of last year's model, with the screen surrounded by a black
bezel that's slim around three
sides and
thicker on the battery
side, where you hold the reader.
Unfortunately, while the Xperia Z2 Tablet is super-model thin the overall dimensions are quite large, a fact made obvious by the large screen
bezels — more than an inch
thick on the
sides.
The slate's black
bezel is narrow
on its long
sides but about half an inch
thick along the short edges.

As you can see, other than the front - facing camera, which is located in the upper - right corner of the phone's display, and it breaks the design a bit, this phone's
bezels seem to be equally
thick on all
sides, and they're quite thin, actually.
There's a
thick bezel around the 14 - inch, 4K matte display, but it's built with a purpose.The top houses a webcam and infrared cameras for logging in with Windows Hello, and the
sides have 12 (six
on each
side) programmable shortcut buttons (see below).
That would mean a slightly
thicker body, smaller
bezels, and stronger metal
on the
sides.
In design terms, the new Kindle Oasis follows the same slightly square - ish design path that its predecessor took — instead of uniform
bezels on all four
sides, there are relatively slim
bezels on three
sides and one extremely wide and
thick side, with two buttons
on it for turning pages — by default the key above moves the book a page ahead and the one below takes you to the previous page, but these can be reversed.
The phone isn't completely bezel-less, has some
bezels on the
sides and the bottom
bezels is a bit
thicker due to that Sharp logo.
Samsung chooses to go with asymmetrical
bezels,
thicker on the top than
on the
sides, and then goes a step further by curving the display in a way that the
side bezels seem even smaller.
Framed
on the left and right
sides by svelte 7.15 mm
bezels (the top and bottom
bezels are considerably
thicker), the ZenBook Flip 14's touch - enabled, 14 - inch 1920 - by - 1080 display looks about as sharp and vivid as you'd expect.
The design could be better, too, as the
bezels are
on the
thick side compared to the likes of the Dell XPS 13 and HP Spectre 13.
From the looks of it, the tablet has
thick bezels on all four

The Moto G5 Plus
on the other hand, has a rounder frame with
thicker side bezels, a plastic body, and a removable metal cover — all of which make the device look dated.
Its
side bezels are quite
thick as well, while the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner, and it offers a single camera
on its back
side.
Compared to other 18:9 budget smartphones, the Redmi Note 5 sports considerably
thick bezels on all the four
sides.
Speaking of the display, it appears that the phone will have narrow
bezels on the top and the
sides, though the
bezel on the bottom is
thick.
It's got a
thicker bezel, larger buttons
on the
side and just feels larger
on the wrist.
The first photo shows two Pixel 2 handsets
side - by -
side with their
thick top and bottom
bezels on full display.
On the flip
side, just like the V9, the chin has a
thicker bezel and that breaks the entire symmetry.
The
side bezels are a little
thicker than
on Samsung's devices, particularly because the edges don't curve so dramatically, but the upside is that you don't get distracting glare
on the edges either.
The newly - leaked images show a stylish phone with minimal
bezels on the
sides of the display, slightly
thicker edges above and below the screen, and a brushed metal body.
ZTE's branding is visible
on the back
side of both devices, and these two phones aren't exactly bezel-less, but their
bezels are not that
thick at all.
That render also revealed that the Nokia 2 will ship with
on - screen buttons, and rather
thick bezels, actually, while another Nokia branding will be placed in the upper right corner of the phone's front
side.
Talking more about the display, the
bezels over the
sides are very narrow and also the chin is
thick, we are expecting this device to come with the best ever screen - to - body ratio just like the Mi Mix 2s (which was leaked
on a hands
on video earlier today).
The display is 1 millimetre
thick and will have very thin
bezels — 0.2 millimetres
on the
sides and 0.54 millimetres
on the bottom of the device.
The
bezels are a little large by today's standards, especially with those
on the
side being nearly an inch
thick.
The screen itself measures 15.6 inches diagonally, sporting
bezels on each
side that appear to be
thicker than what we saw with the Dell Precision 5520, at half an inch wide.
The 32 - inch Samsung M5300 has plastic construction, with
bezels measuring 15 millimeters
thick on the top and bottom, and 20 mm
thick on each
side.
The phone has a chin below the display, though its
side bezels are really thin, as is the top
bezel, though it's
thicker than the ones
on the
sides.
