One side of the phone houses an exceptionally
thin power button and volume rocker, and the other sports a combination SIM tray / MicroSD Card reader.

The
volume and camera keys are still well placed
and easy to press, as is the
power button, though it has gotten a bit
thinner and is now in the center top of the phone, like the Razr.
Along the
thinned - out sides, there's just enough depth for a
volume rocker that's smooth
and power button that's accented with ridges.
The sides of the phone are rather
thin without accounting for the edge,
and host a
volume rocker
and power button on the right side,
and then one SIM tray on each side, one of which also doubles as a microSD slot.
The right side of the Storm is home to two clicky, but rather
thin and weedy
buttons — the
volume rocker,
and the
power button just below.
LG designed the G2 to be a very
thin smartphone, so instead of placing the
power and volume buttons on the side of the G2, LG chose to place them on the back of the smartphone.
Putting size aside, the
power and volume buttons are too
thin, difficult to find,
and similar to one another.
On it you'll find a chrome bezel (it independently brandishes all four sides), a
thin volume rocker near the top, an equally spare camera
button on the bottom,
and in the middle the pièce de résistance, a gorgeous machine - bezeled aluminum
power button.
On the very
thin right side is the
power / standby
button and the left is the
volume rocker.
