died - hence delaying tactics, obfuscations, procedurality, red tape and making everything as difficult and administratively untenable as possible; with patronising sympathy and hand - wringing at their lot while sneering, dismissing and chuckling to themselves that the whole

thing as receiving eternal life) by living in a profitable way here on earth (cf. Luke 9:24 - 25).

Jeremy Myers, i think you are wrong and David is right, so many out there are preaching you can live any way you want and be right that Grace covers any sin, they really believe that, that is not what the bible says, God was very concerned
about sin so much he sent Jesus his son to
die on a cross for us, if we accept Jesus as our savor then we are to obey his commandments, not break them, we are to live a righteous and holy life as possible, the bible plainly list a whole list of
things if we live in will not to to heaven unless we repent, if we
die while in these sins, we will not go to heaven, what is the difference, between someone who said a prayer and someone who did not, and they are living the same way, none, i think, if we are truly saved it should be hard to do these
things let alone live and do them everyday, i would be afraid to tell people that it does not matte grace covers their sins, i really think it is the slip ups that we are convicted of by the Holy Spirit and we ask for forgivness, how can anyones heart be right with God and they have sex all the time out of marriage, lie, break every commandment of God, i don't think this is meaning grace covers those sins, until they repent and ask for forgiveness, a lot of people will end up in hell because preachers teach Grace the wrong way,, and those preachers will answer to God for leading these people the wrong way, not saying you are one of them, but be careful, everything we teach or preach must line up with the word of God, God hates sin,
What does it matter when we
die what is important is what we do with our life now.The struggles people find themselves is because of living a sinful lifestyle you cant play with fire and not get burnt there are consequences.Jesus wants to bring forgiveness and healing and remove the guilt and shame that you are feeling.Ive have been there i was just as guilty i do nt believe theres a big screen that replays our life if it is it, it will be
about what we have done for God as our sins are covered under the blood of Jesus. The judgement for christians is that we must give an account of what we did for Jesus while we were here did we make the most of opportunities given to tell others to reach out others with his love.Mat 25:14 - 30 the Parable of the talents talks
about judgement and for me it is all
about what we do for Jesus the ones who are faithfull in the small
things are set over much. The one who did nt use his talent that God gave him was punished for his lack of faith. So for those who are struggling with sin and life Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life just trust him to help you and he will.To be fair its wont be easy you will have to make some hard choices but he promises to help you through its all
about choosing him over choosing what we think best because he knows whats best for us.Its important the choice you make as it will impact your life for eternity.brentnz
This huge, blue planet is in existance just so we can be born, live, make a living, have a baby, then
die... no connection, no spirit, no soul, no more appreciating the beauty around us, no more being astounded at the improbabilities, no more being amazed at the wonders of life... because none of that has any meaning any more, it's just a bunch of junk that happened accidently... who cares, we're just all going to fade away into nothingness... become one with the dirt, because we are actually no better than the dirt... I don't know
about you, but I'm depressed now... but then that's what's great
about our country, you can choose to believe or... not... in this... country... that has... no particular meaning... in the grand scheme of thngs... oh, yeah, that's right there is no «grand scheme of
things»... so never mind.

After all that I forgot even what I thought I did in the first place, And I tell myself that if I am doing all of that then I care
about it, and then I think
about it and that it's possible to just go on with my life without stressing
about all of this... and then when I
die I'll go to hell and burn forever... and then at the same time I don't want to constantly freak out
about it and live my entire life in fear of going to hell... My Parents are Atheists and say that I should just live my life without worrying
about it and being nice to people and being an overall good person, and I'm not old enough to go to church, so I just repent quietly in my room, Perhaps when I was younger I have sworn to god on
things that may or may not have been true, and then I repeat those
things in my head, and I would get scared.

Jeremy i am surprised you never countered my argument Up till now the above view has been my understanding however
things change when the holy spirit speaks. He amazes me because its always new never old and it reveals why we often misunderstand scripture in the case of the woman caught in adultery. We see how she was condemned to
die and by the grace of God Jesus came to her rescue that seems familar to all of us then when they were alone he said to her Go and sin no more. This is the point we misunderstand prior to there meeting it was all
about her death when she encountered Jesus something incredible happened he turned a death situation into life situation so from our background as sinners we still in our thinking and understanding dwell in the darkness our minds are closed to the truth. In effect what Jesus was saying to her and us is chose life and do nt look back that is what he meant and that is the walk we need to live for him. That to me was a revelation it was always there but hidden.Does it change that we need discipline in the church that we need rules and guidelines for our actions no we still need those
things. But does it change how we view non believers and even ourselves definitely its not
about sin but its all
about choosing life and living. He also revealed some other interesting
things on salvation so i might mention those on the once saved always saved discussion.Jeremy just want to say i really appreciate your website because i have not really discussed issues like this and it really is making me press in to the Lord for answers to some of those really difficult questions.regards brentnz
It is so sad that so many atheists will spend most of their lives fighting and arguing against the very
thing that can save them, only to
die and go to hell and then to spend eternity regretting the fact that they wasted all of their time arguing
about it rather than just accepting it, rather than just believing, and a belief that could have saved them.
The fact that Atheists indicate that spending time thinking
about their soul in relation to Eternity and God would be an embarrassingly silly
thing to do, is going to resound in their horror when they realize that even they have a soul, and it is not part of their flesh, and existed before they were born, and will also exist after their body
dies.
