That's because sweet potatoes have more carbs than zucchini but that's a good

thing because all the flavours really come out.
Really sadly I don't think there is a replacement for the dates
as they really stick the whole
thing together, it may work to try making them with a little more
sweet potato and a little more maple syrup but I can't promise anything
as I haven't tried it!
I need to get in my head that

The only
things I tweaked a bit was using 1/2 cup white rice flour, instead of 1/4 cup superfine
sweet rice flour and 1/4 cup white rice flour
as I'm out of the first right now, and substituting the tapioca starch with cornstarch.
Not
as sweet as the jacked up version, but it I'm happy to know that I can make something that is yummy, healthy and give me energy to go get
things done.
With a few modifications (
as per my gluten free lifestyle, and love of all
things natural) the bread is in the oven filling the house with whisps of
sweet decadent memories.

as I'm not a massive fan of

I'm thinking of this (perhaps incorrectly)
as a slightly
sweet thing... so not sure if the oregano and thyme I've got on hand will work.
But
as pumpkin pie is one of those
things that isn't ultra
sweet to begin with, I think that in this case, the name is surprisingly fitting.
Bacon — yes, American - style bacon in Rome; not exactly the pork product I associate with the city, but who am I to question these
things — was grilled to a perfect, lightly charred crisp then topped with peppery wild arugula and drizzled so - very - lightly with an aged balsamic vinegar, the kind that is thick, dark and almost syrupy,
as sweet as it is punchy, the kind that probably costs too much but that I still encourage everyone to buy, just once, because used judiciously (which is to say, not in a steak marinade, please, use the cheap stuff for that) it will last forever.
I add brown sugar and warming Fall spices — cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, allspice — which complement and intensify the pumpkin flavor of the cornbread, though not in a cloying, overly
sweet way,
as many «pumpkin spice» flavored
things tend to be.
If you like
things that are more subtly
sweet, keep this Maple Vanilla Cashew Cream
as is.
2 - 3 T. liquid sweetener, such
as honey, maple syrup, or brown rice syrup (I really like barley malt, but if you're gluten - sensitive, try one of the others)(I also like 2 tablespoons, but if you like
things sweeter, go for 3)
To keep
things just
as sweet but reducing the calories, I swap out the brown sugar for Truvía ® Brown Sugar Blend!
