Inventory management is a nuisance in the heat
of the moment, it's maddeningly difficult to pick up the item you want and not the useless
thing next to it, and, sorry for harping on them, but almost all
of the boss fights would feel at home on a 2004
gaming console.
Virtual reality has become a big

@triplec One small
thing is that current gen games have a lot more higher standards,
gaming engines back in the 360 and PS3 days weren't that far ahead
of what
consoles could deliver where as for the XB1 and PS4
gaming engines like Unreal Engine 4 etc are far beyond what todays
consoles can achieve.
This always on crap, blocking
of used games & such, is a huge step in the wrong direction for gamers... & I think that if
things keep going that way & MS win with this crap, then the
console &
gaming industry in general, is going to suffer a 1980's meltdown.
many people do nt really care about frame rate issues that much, we had them in almost every
console game last gen. Personally I couldnt even stand
console gaming most
of last gen, but now with these mid gen upgrades
things are looking better.
Actually yes I did read it, I've been
gaming for 35 yrs since the very beginning as I have a fond interest in the future
of AI in
gaming as a whole weather that be
console or pc as I feel the last 10 yrs we've seen big jumps in story telling, physics gfx etc but the AI side
of things has become a bit stagnant imo.
The division has been a sink hole for money and finally after six years
of venturing into the
console gaming market, they turned a profit on the whole

this was the one
thing with move that seemed to stand on its own... I don't mind the idea
of HD wii sports either, as long as it really is 1:1... that was my only real complaint with the wii when it released... there was motion control, but it was gimmicky and registered «wiggles» into canned animations... not to mention the gamecube visuals... still not sold on Move though... for me to really want one, I want to see what they are doing with shooters... Socom 4 and killzone 3 could be very special for core gamers and motion controls if they are done right... if you can aim on screen in true 1:1 fashion while sitting comfortably at a «normal»
gaming distance... it could rearrange how I play first person shooters on a
console... developers are saying the Move has input latency
of 21ms, which is roughly half
of a DS3... and second only to a wired mouse / keyboard... need to see how it works though, as it is not always that simple... just saying that if it does what its supposed to... it could end up being the answer to shooters on a
console... as much as I like playing shooters with 2 sticks... I can't argue that I miss the days
of a mouse and keyboard (as well as PC being the only platform to get the best shooters on... no longer the case by any means)... but with a first person shooter, there is no wiggle room... pun intended... it has to register every mm
of movement on screen... and do it quickly... not sure if it can yet...
The fact is, both Sony & MS's new
consoles are about equal in all facets in reality, both have a similar amount
of great exclusives, even to the point
of being in similar genres... And regardless
of propaganda, media beatups (such as in Driveclubs & Halo's cases)... regardless
of the OBVIOUS MAINLY U.S. based media favoritism
of there own home grown
console manufacturing giant, both machines are great, & so similar in all areas, that choosing between the 2, comes down to all these little bullshite bits & bops, such as marketing, corporate naming & such... as well as the more game related
things, such as
gaming preferences, controllers comfort, online infrastructure, etc, etc.... But, the point is, WHO REALLY CARES??? Who worries about this shite, over actually playing & enjoying such brilliant games?

Also, as well as the reasons you mentioned, at the very start
