One of the
things I've done in my work is kind of show the hypocrisy of progressive people who say they believe in inequality, but when it comes to their individual choices
about where they're going to
live and
where they're going to send their children, they make very different decisions, and I just didn't want to do that.
One more
thing CA... I contribute every day to your country... Whenever I shop at Subway or WalMart or Target... some of that money goes directly back to your country... so suck it up and learn to stay on topic... this isn't
about who
lives where, this
about some religitard dictating basic human rights!!!
For me, this story is touching and at a point in my
life where I am very confused
about a lot of
things with the Bible, religion, Christians, and pastors.
Salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone ----- Except if God placed you in a region on earth
where christianity doesn't exist, then you've never heard of Christ, and will likely go your entire
life without learning the first
thing about him.
I agree that God didn't pursue Adam to smash his face in, never suggested that or alluded to it, but there is no confusion
where sin leads and there is no doubt
about the consequences off those who love their
lives, they will lose it
where as those that hate their
lives will find it... So to conclude, Jesus and the father are not two different
things, they are both the very same in as much as God desires all to be saved and has shown the way to salvation.
The timing of what you post today goes with the section talking
about «he will come again to judge the
living and the dead» which is
where I would guess that there'd be that change in the axis on your theory from
things understood of Jesus to
things understood of the Holy Spirit.
I don't know what community you
live in, but
where I am from its the Christian folks in the community that are the most proactive
about making
things happen for people in need.
I still think we should still go to the church... or maybe a meeting
where all the believer can learn from each other, strengthening each other, pray for each other etc, and of course, to worship God together... It is true that sometime I feel that I do not learn many
thing from the sermon, but, many times, I learn by going to the church, knowing that I will not learn something from the preacher, humble myself to still listen to God and worship Him,,,, it is such a blessing to hear others testimony
about how God works in their
life, it is such an encouragement to see people open up their problem, then, we can pray
about them..
No it has not been proven
where did you see that on an alien special on a & e, Read up on it those other religions did not have Jesus as a Savior and did not have men writing 1000s of years apart talking
about the same events, and phrophecizing
about things that happened in later chapters written hundreds of years later... and in no bok any
where was there a man like Jesus, who spoke the words that Jesus spoke and died for people who hated Him like Jesus did, and spoke the parabales and
life lessons like Jesus did... look at what Jesus spoke... read it nowhere has there been a better teacher of
life then in His words.
Do people shrink back when you share
things about life, no, we gather around and pray for one another and help
where we can help one another.
David Brooks tells us that
Where The Wild
Things Are accurately shows that, for us, the «philosopher's» way of thinking
about the good
life is out and the «psychologist's» way is in.
And thank God we
live in a society
where you can express yourself freely and use your family SUV as a mobile conveyance device for your political views and other
things you're angry
about.
What
about being a «new creation»
where the old sinful
life has passed and all
things have become new?
Know that
things change... it isn't even making a judgement
about «for the better»... just that
life changes, feeling «stuck» or in stasis or numb or unable to move... it won't last forever, and when the time comes change will help you to move from
where you are now.
O when one beholds a man who protests that he has entirely understood how Christ went
about in the form of a lowly servant, poor, despised, and, as the Scripture says, spat upon — when I see the same man so careful to betake himself thither
where in a worldly sense it is good to be, and accommodate himself there in the utmost security, when I see him apprehensive of every puff of wind from right or left, as though his
life depended upon it, and so blissful, so utterly blissful, so awfully glad — yes, to make the
thing complete, so awfully glad that he is able to thank God for it — glad that he is held in honor by all men — then I have often said to myself and by myself, «Socrates, Socrates, Socrates, can it be possible that this man has understood what he says he has understood?»
I have many areas currently in my
life where I believe one
thing (and write
about it on this blog), but do something else in my daily practice.
Another preacher preaching what ever goes is ok with Christianity... If your going to preach Christianity based on the Bible, then you might as well forget gay marriages are ok... If you want to twist it around then thats up to you... Paul said, «The Berens were of noble charachter because they didn't believe what they heard, but they took what they heard and confirmed it with the Bible... So its like the Yen or Yang... Its either Gods church or Satans Church... Can't be any other way... Do I hate gays, no... I have some very close friends that I have had for over 30 years that are gay, but I think they will be accountable for their
life styles... Thats the
thing about Christianity, we are held accountable, its not an everything goes belief... Its rules we have to follow... And rules we will be held accountable... So maybe this preacher needs to start a dfferent faith or religion... One
where there are no rules and
where its people are not accountable for their actions...
Slave labour, one milliard persons in unvoluntary hunger,
life - saving medicine not available
where needed too, polluted air and water, murders,...; what does any doctrine of science say
about these
things?
Tim i found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand
where i was coming from and thats okay because of that i just said no until my heart is right i am better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry
about change as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my
life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad
thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz
most condos i know of are extremely anal
about such
things... maybe its just
where i
live but i was under the impression that most were of equal «non dressy» types... it reminds me of an episode of X-Files.
In the section
where you talk
about «Let Go and Let God» you make the statement «So clearly there are numerous
things God can not do for me in my
life.»
They talk
about God intervening in their
lives to remove them from bad situations
where they could have ended up doing even worse
things than what landed them in prison.
It leaves me with some existential anxiety and doesn't provide answers
about life after death, but it provides real certainty
where it offers it and safeguards against the insanity of the mystical and the dangers of basing conclusions on
things that can never be proven or tested.

One
thing that's great
about living where I do is that I have three different farms all in easy driving distance, two of which have mostly beefsteak and one that has all the pretty colors.
As a beekeeper with three hives I can't understand
where this
thing about the bees» pain is coming from — they are not kept like dairy cows or battery hens as they determine themselves how many bees
live in any one hive.

Hahaha at times I wonder
about this
thing in football called loyalty. So imagine a world
where all players were loyal to their clubs till the end of time.If that were to happen many so called top clubs wouldnt have top players. He left for the right reasons and I wish him all the best.If Arsene wants to go for him he should.Every player is a traitor as long as he wants to move but the club does nt want to sell or every club is a traitor to a player who wanted to stay but the club wanted to ship him out by force. This is
life so deal with.I'd take him in a heartbeat because to me am sick and tired of being sick and tired of watching this awful and terrible striking force.Nonsense!!!!
To
live a
life where snarky thoughts
about a team aren't the first
thing to come to mind when I turn a game on, that would be nice.
Its nice to see some people have open there eyes but all is true lets ask our selves have this team change from last season
where are the experienced players that wenger talked
about he selling us bull and every season he gets away with it the fans deserve better am from the caribbean so chance r i might never get to see arsenal
live at the emirates because its too expensive at least the club should be winning
things i know its important to balance the books you must BUT football is
about trophies as well and thats were the balance lies how the hell can we go Six (6) seasons yes 6 without a trophy not even a FA cup or carling cup and no one says a word
about the manager that is rubbish Arsenal
live in the past too much the time is now this season for me is the absolute last for wenger to win something i do nt care how much money he has made the club and Wenger if you cant bring that then go work for an oil company and make them money and leave arsenal to a manager who is willing to win something not only buy players for 10 million who take 10 years to develop am frustrated with this man.
the reason why not many people are talkin
about theo getting 11 goals in as many starts is coz unfortunately we
live in a day and age
where eveyone has an opinion and its almost like the most important
thing is for their opinion to be right to get some sort of self satisfaction.
By October he was in isolation after losing the feeling in his legs due to a MRSA abscess in his spine three yearsclater he came home resentful not willing to just keepnthings the way they had always been before he became I'll, and he was not going to ask for any
thing to be allowed him, he was taking it weather or not any one agreed, in fact two weekscafter he walked in the door he made the pronouncement he was the only judge and arbitor of what he was allowed and he was not letting any one decide his
life and as the main thief that stole 31 years of his
life hevwasvstarting with me to take some of it back and he raped me as I begged that I was going to a dinner vevent and we would all meet any
where he wanted in four hours to try and think of solutions to what he was angry
about.
