As I suggested earlier, most of the content here will be instantly familiar to people with hunting experience under their belts, but there have been some new
things added to the mix.

It is because of this that when I set out
to make one on my own I decide
to shake
things up a bit by using less olives and
adding a can of artichoke hearts
to the
mix.

Since I wanted something substantial
to have for my weekday lunches, I decided
to add quinoa
to the

The only
thing I changed is

The powder is intended
to be

things like smoothies, elixirs, bars, dips, etc.
to add a nutritional boost, and I don't see why it being digested and absorbed quickly would be a problem.
-- On a lower speed,
add eggs one at a time and vanilla until well incorporated — Increase
mixing speed
to high and let it go for 10 minutes — the mixture will become really pale and will almost double in size — In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt — When 10 minutes are up,
add flour mixture slowly until just combined, about 45 - 60 seconds — Chop up and
mix together all of your baking and snack ingredients in a small bowl, and fold into batter with a spatula until just incorporated — Using a medium - sized ice cream scoop, portion cookie dough on parchment paper - lined cookie sheet and wrap the entire
thing tightly with plastic wrap — Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour and up
to 1 week — Heat oven
to 400F and arrange cookies on cookie sheets at least 4 ″ apart — Bake 9 - 11 minutes, until they are golden in color and slightly brown along the edges — Cool the cookies completely on the sheet pan (or just eat them immediately...)
This facilitates a creamy risotto, but they're great for other
things too: porridges, puddings, and even for
adding proofed yeast
to flour as it helps
to prevent mixtures from slopping over the tops of
mixing bowls.
Chandra, the easiest
thing is just
to buy my
mix so you don't have
to run out and get those flours, but if not, you will be happier with the outcome if you
add the rice flour, at the very least, so the crackers are a bit gritty like a graham cracker should be.
I actually read the whole
thing aloud
to my husband, and he said that the only
thing missing is that there should've been some brown sugar
added in
to the
mix.
Feel free
to just use hamburger meat and if you want
to mix things up even more
add in some ground bison or ground turkey.
The nice
thing about this recipe is how easy it is
to change - I suggest that as you
add the ingredients
to your blender, you
mix, taste, tailor it,
mix again, taste again, etc..
When you
add things like jalapeno
to the
mix you start shaking
things up.
You just need
to add a few
things to the dry
mix to make the dough / crust (if you follow the box directions, which I did): Apple cider vinegar, grapeseed oil (I'm guessing any oil wold work), and water.
Adding toppings like green chiles and cheese is a delicious way
to mix things up.
After you use this no - longer - top - secret kale trick, whip up some baked buffalo tofu,
add a few other
mix - ins and drizzle the whole
thing with creamy vegan ranch dressing, well... you've got yourself a kale salad full of irresistible flavors, but with the health factor
to back it up.
It's coffee — but with
things like ginseng, MCT powder, turmeric and more
added to the
mix.
If you like
things on the sweeter side, I recommend
adding a few more oranges
to the
mix.
So I decided
to switch
things up by
adding chocolate, espresso and cinnamon
to the
mix, resulting in the most delicious chocolatey dessert you'll ever eat.
Two
things I've taken
to doing in my guac prep: 1)
mixing the onion with the lime juice and letting them macerate for some minutes before
mixing in the rest 2)
adding orange juice concentrate.
I doctored a box
mix to make
things a little simpler, and they tasted amazing, especially when you
add a few secret ingredients (see below).
We sometimes
add in other spices (fresh rosemary is a favourite for sure), and often shredded cheese
to mix things up a little.
I'm new
to the whole gluten free
thing, I purchased a Cuisinart bread maker with GF settings and have your all purpose gluten free bread
mix, do I need
to add all this other stuff
to the
mix and liquids in the machine?
And the greens are still there: a cup of kale rounds
things out and
adds plenty of vitamins
to the
mix.
Add the sour cream
to a medium bowl and
mix in a few ladles of sauce
to temper it then pour the entire
thing back into the pot and stir well.
Only
thing I found was I needed
to add a little water
to thin out the protein / banana / egg yolk
mix (but that's probably because my protein is like cement).
When I took the whole
thing out
to add the cashews, I
mixed everything up, getting the chicken all submerged so more flavor could cook into it.
Add the pinenuts and cranberries and give the
mix one final blend
to break
things up.
If you stray from the recipe below, one
thing to keep in mind with adapting another recipe is that in general you will need
to add a touch more gluten - free flour
mix or a little extra egg white
to a traditional, «glutenous» recipe, but this is what has worked best for me so far.
The only
things I can think of that I didn't differently: used homemade veg broth I had in the freezer (I'm vegetarian though my husband isn't and he thought the soup was great) used
mixed dried mushrooms (you can get a large amount from costco for not too much - I keep them on hand for all my dried mushroom needs) did a healthy glug of sherry (more than the recipe) into the mushrooms when they were done sauteeing
added spinach at the end
to the soup For the dumplings, the only
thing I did that was different than what many would do is use an egg from one of my hens - other than that I made them just as other people did but mine were full of flavor and could be eaten plain.

My next favorite
thing to do with cacao powder: when Pamela's Gluten - free Bread
Mix is getting boring and I start craving rye bread, I use coffe or teccino (which is gluten - free) instead of water in the recipe, and
add a heaping tablespoon of cacao powder and another of caraway seeds, and POOF: gluten - free almost - rye bread.
