Hi Melissa, I have bought and sold many
things at consignment stores over the years.

I know a number of people who shop
at consignment stores near expensive neighborhoods to get some nice
things cheaply.
Other than donating to a local charity, I sometimes drop
things at thrift or
consignment stores too.
You know, lately I've been finding that
things at our local thrift
stores like Goodwill and Value Village are way overpriced and that the many
consignment stores have much reasonable prices for higher quality clothing.
I think if we lived next to each other, we would be great friends - your story about your furniture sounds like what I do - here's a little silly - I did the same
thing when we were first married and bought a sofa -LCB- mauve, have you -RCB- that we couldn't afford, but had to have it - the darn
thing never worn out - it has been pasted around through all five kids - it finally meet it's end this year - 30 years later =) I just picked up a few
things last week
at a
consignment store - and I'm so looking for a white slip covered sofa too!
