The dates and the
chocolate chips are the only
sweet things in these bars.
The dessert selection is somewhat scant, with a couple selections erring on the
sweet side (spiced pudding sounds intriguing, with half the sugar listed); some other sound positively outrageous: The oatmeal cookies (making them); molasses cake; halvah
chocolate bars (must make them for my daughter who goes gaga for all
things halva); anise rings (I pray this recipe finally turns some recalcitrant American palates onto anise).
I have grown to love the bitterness of cacao, even enjoying raw cacao nibs sprinkled on chia pudding and other

things Valentine's Day (aka,

Gradually it came to a point were the oranges still tasted «good» and «

sweets, it balances the flavor)... basically anything you think will be good in a [quote] mocha [/ quote] type drink (I even put small amounts of maca and other medicinal mushroom powders to up the nutritional value - but just a little, to avoid bitterness).
Whether you're looking for a great travel snack, some energy to fuel your workout, or a
