things in my closet because I go through phases (right now it's velvet).

It's my go - to piece
because it really goes with anything, plus it's also super comfy
because it's a bit oversized:) I think i need to invest
in more of these knitwear

Every time I wore them people were so surprised at the pockets
because they are made so well and lay so sleek, you don't even notice — but they are perfectly placed to feel comfortable when you want to rest hands
in them, and hold a surprising amount of junk without showing:) The Penelope polka dot dresses are my fave — I even have one
in pink, one of the few
things in my
closet that's a bright color!
Having clothing
in your
closet that is really versatile, not only saves you money, but it doesn't become that one
thing that when you look at, makes you feel frustrated,
because it's so limiting!
So as I said I'm excited for spring
because of bare legs and pretty dresses like this one here but also for buying clothes
in smaller sizes and shopping my own
closet of
things that used to fit prebaby!
Because so many times I'll see
things that I already have a version
in my
closet!!
I used to buy
things only
because they were a great deal, but eventually found that they just sat
in my
closet unworn and those mere $ 3 could be spent on something I liked and actually wore!
Hopefully you can see your
closet in a new light and break out of the routine of feeling like you have nothing to wear
because you're always wearing the same
thing.
I don't know if it's my lack of time, sleep or ability to think straight
because of both
things, but I literally reach for the most simple pieces
in my
closet to put together a basic look I can throw on and go!
I find so much utility
in it
because not only does it have multiple pockets for holding multiple items
in true utility form, but more importantly, it can be worn and layered beautifully with so many different
things in your
closet, which provides so much value to the wearer.
But also, this whole «blogging what I'm wearing»
thing has been a lot of fun
because it has begun to force me to look at the pieces I DO have
in my
closet and resurrect them, if you will.
I am simply
in love with the zig zag print Cascading Vest
because I have found so many
things to pair it with that are already
in my
closet, and so many other patterns it looks smashing with.
I have so many
things in my
closet that I don't wear more than once or simply forget that I have
because it's buried
in my which makes no sense and I think it's time for me to shop my own
closet and remix certain pieces.
I think over all I want to invest more
in classic staples so that I can get more wear out of the trendy, more inexpensive items
in my
closet... if that makes sense...
Because I don't think I will ever have enough will power to stop impulse buying pretty
things:) xx
I'm still working to improve the quality of my clothes but I can honestly say I love every single
thing hanging
in my
closet at this moment and I know
things like I need to replace the mustard color tee shirt from Target with a better quality shirt of the same color from somewhere else
because I wear it all.
You look fantastic I only own one pink
thing in my ENTIRE
closet (I am not so much a girly girl haha) but I would totally wear this
because I like how muted and simple but beautiful it is.
Are you buying
because you're frustrated by the whole shopping experience and XXX «always comes
in handy» so another one of that same
thing makes its way into your
closet?
Also agree with the poster who suggested putting a broom
closet or other thin cabinet next to the fridge — will make
things easier and will help now and
in the long term whenever the fridge needs to be replaced
because you and any future owners will not be limited to a specific type of fridge.
