I would take a couple of big
things I want to get done
like run a
marathon, lose 30 pounds, and put it at the bottom of the page.
That's handy to know if you suddenly feel
like your legs are going to fall off at mile 18 of a
marathon, but it's a truth that can have a huge impact even if long - distance
running really isn't your
thing.
I was
running half
marathons all the time and
things like that, so I feel
like I slowly started to realize that the foods that I ate really affected the rest of my life.
I was tempted to register for the race anyway, since the location is convenient, and though I don't know exactly what CARA's training plan looks
like, if it's close to Novice 1 on Hal Higdon's website, I'll only have to flip flop
things by a week or so, which is definitely more ideal than
running a half
marathon and then having to continue
running to get in my long
run for the week haha).
and instead am trying new
things,
like running a half
marathon or writing a book about packing light.
