After being a very lucky, healthy (ish) vegetarian for
over 30 years I have recently gone pescatarian paleo (if there is such a
thing) after struggling with the

over a saucepan of simmering water (I can't lie I just put it right in a saucepan
over medium heat and skipped the simmering water).
Spray an 8 × 8 pan with nonstick spray, then sprinkle some powdered
sugar in the pan and shake well, dispersing it all
over the pan, covering the entire
thing.
A simple brown
sugar crumble topping is made and sprinkled
over the top, and the whole
thing is baked.
Let me start by saying two
things 1 - I didn't
over bake it and 2 - we all hate caramel (which tastes like burned
sugar to us) so I substituted simple cream cheese frosting (equal parts cream cheese / unsalted butter / dash of vanilla / powdered
sugar).
One tricky
thing about «
sugar - free» is creating healthy desserts that are meant to be snow white — vanilla frosting, ice cream or just plain powdered

I am following this diet because I have intolerances to certain foods, chronic fatigue type symptoms when I
over do
things — with a feeling I've got flu when I haven't; and because I have blood
