are thankful for — a working fridge, a soft blanket, the smile someone shared, those deep breaths you just got done taking, your pulse.

at the beginning and end of each day to count 10
things you
are thankful for.
Then, when I
'm having a rough day, I go back into my journal and I look
at all the
things — big and small — that I have to
be thankful for.
It makes it a whole lot more difficult to feel sorry
for myself or throw myself a pity party when I look
at all the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of
things that I have to
be thankful for.

's about
being thankful that despite all of the hardships, trials and tribulations we experience on a daily basis, there
are those
things that we take
for granted that help us cope and live through it all, no matter what life seems to throw
at us.
