I think Retro feels «been there done that» which is why they wanted to do another DK.

I do like the
retro yet modern
feel of this collection, and I do
think it includes some very wearable pieces.
As I
thought I have a
feeling that
retro are working on shiggy's new ip at the moment but I
feel that they have also been given the green light to do metroid.
You'd
think that if they made a
retro - inspired RPG that they would at least try to make it
feel authentic.
Thought retro in style, the rooms have a distinctly contemporary, urban
feel:
think exposed concrete ceilings and open bathroom layout.
There's a very real sense of nostalgia and
retro feel that makes it easy to
think you're listening to a museum audiobook with samples from the era.
But most of the people who tested that early version did not find the
retro feel we were looking for, and instead
thought the no - aim just made the gameplay finicky and irritating.
Whilst I am sure it was designed to capture the
retro gaming look, it just
feels very cheap and poorly
thought out.
That said, as much as I love Yoshi, Luigi, and Kirby Of The Star, it's crazy that Next Level (the next generation of greats, clearly capable of independent
thought),
Retro (even with some staff leaving), Good -
Feel (Konami veterans with more experience than most of Nintendo's employees at this point), and Skip / Vanpool / Onion (arthouse greats) aren't doing new mascots or properties.
Butcher is a game that caught me off guard, it's
retro artwork and
feel was something I stupidly didn't
think would do all that well, after playing the blood soaked love letter to shooters of the 90's my mind was completely changed, watching a video of Butcher will not do the game any justice, you have to play it and
feel the 90's generation it's based on, for
retro gamers or anyone with fond memories of 90's gaming Butcher is a game you have to check out.
Alwa's Awakening is a wonderful game and I
think it belongs right up there with Cave Story, Shovel Knight and other indie
retro releases that borrow the best elements of the earlier eras of video games while still injecting their own character, design, and level building that makes the game
feel like a new experience.
While I use my ornaments to bring color to my tree, I do
think that colored lights bring a charming
retro feel to Christmas!.
I
thought it would
feel like being in a
retro Fifties caravan.
