If I saw a replay or heard the announcers going crazy, I turned my attention to the TV, but the
UFC really needs to start
thinking about making some changes that help make the presentation of the sport more appealing to casual / lapsed / new fans by say starting things 1 hour earlier, use current Fox technology by airing a commercial while minimizing the arena camera in the top left corner so you can see what is going on, and coming up with some sort of naming system for events that mark said events as high, medium, and low importance.
I
think someone like BJ Penn would be a destroyer in today's
UFC with his boxing and grappling.

UFC simply grew too fast in relation their own organisational capabalities and it cannot / could not cope with it, hence Ferritta's sold it at the perfect time, now they have an aging staff minus some of the key players (e.g. Joe Silva etc.) with an old business model and old
thinking processes with same old leaders (e.g. Dana), but now operating under totally new realities, many more fighters, fighters attitude have changed, different landscape in the sporting world in general (from how sport fans consume sports, viewing habbits,...)
To be a champion should mean to be the best, so I like to
think of it like that at times rather then accepting everything as dictated by the
UFC.

thought maybe the
UFC will do all they can to expedite Tony's recovery because he is still a huge attraction in the octagon and it is in the
UFC's best interest to keep Tony in the game and active.
