bullied them till they couldn't stand it anymore... we are the only bible some folks will ever read, and if they get this kind of message, well, who'd want to be with a group of people where you are grudgingly tolerated, if not outright hated, and all this in Jesus» name... it also says that the churches will do just
about anything to keep people obedient and unquestioning, so they will continue to give, and so the big donors will continue to give, so that the doors at Monster Megachurch can be kept open, and the lights on... David, this is one of your «less is more» toons here... a minimum of elements that says so much....
Religion or religious people are unfairly picked out as the cause of
bullying when I believe people who are truely faithful to their religion speak only
about their belief which so often is
thought of as
bullying.
I
think using the [
bully] «pulpit,» using the public forum to talk
about the tenets of the faith in a way that draws people together.
However, I
think I am talking
about bullying... when people say things that fall under those 10 signs of abusive speech... the kind that is intended to belittle, threaten, and even destroy another.
As to the second part... again, Bob... maybe,... just maybe atheists, agnostics, some christians, and many from other religions, or not believe that what you evangelical theists believe
about «gays» and what you are doing to minimize, criminalize,

I'd rather

bullied, or getting hurt, or just feeling the ups and downs of being human... so we try to exert some control over the one thing that we know will travel with them... maybe it's a little like trying to wrap them in a protective spell J
People may be
bullying them in real life, or
think differently of them because of what they have seen
about them online.
You may
think you don't have to worry
