When I started
eating healthier many years ago, I retrained my brain to focus on all the foods I could have versus
thinking about what I wasn't choosing to
eat anymore (sugar, refined grains, lots of processed junk foods, etc.).
If you
think about the biggest obstacle to
healthy eating, it usually comes down to time.
Looking at a tangle of spaghetti squash tricks your brain into
thinking you're

eat a serving of eggy noodles, when in fact, you get a nice calorie and carb savings in this
healthy recipe.
If you can not afford to
eat a
healthy diet, or feel stressed to
think about having to
eat in a more
healthy way during breastfeeding, it's best to forget that for now (and the breast milk quality issues above can be dealt with through supplements, which some, who can afford them, may find to be a less stressful approach).
Think about obesity — the majority of people know
about healthy eating and which foods are better for them, but fast food tastes so good and is so convenient, why would they stop?

about — what «rules» can you remember?

eating a bit of fish like the Adventists since that group had longer lives?
