I think about meditation!
It took me several years of
thinking about meditation before I actually began.
My thinking about meditation had become a cage: I needed to do it every day without fail; I wanted to reach a quiet mind; I had expectations around it and was disappointed when I couldn't meet them.
Not exact matches
Forget so - called «brain training» programs, which science has recently largely discredited, and instead
think about taking up a simple
meditation practice.

It's a little like

I basked in the freedom of not obsessing

Most of the books and articles I've read
about creating a morning routine talk
about «
thinking about what you need to get done that day» and «spending 30 minutes of quiet time
meditation» or even «follow the exact same routine at the same time each day.»
I've been drawn to a lot of healing things lately, healing sounds, healing frequencies, infrared sauna,
meditation, breath work, really good deep tissue work, and, you know, I was speaking with my wife
about a week ago and she commented on the fact that in the thirteen years that we've been married, when she met me, I was a bodybuilder and a spin instructor, she doesn't
think she's ever seen me take any more than, perhaps, a couple of days off of an extremely hard charging life, in which I'm replying to literally hundreds of emails a day, squeezing in the type of exercise sessions that allow me to do masochistic things, volunteering, jetting around the globe, you name it.
Though I won't prompt you to
think positive
thoughts during the actual
meditation, I will encourage you to turn your attention to something you're grateful for or happy
about should you find your mind wandering in the moments before you fall asleep.

meditation because there's no point in exposing yourself to something if you are so stressed out
about it that you're causing a reaction to begin with because then the brain begun — begins associating that food even more strongly with a negative — with a negative impact because you know, if you experience something negative, your body doesn't want it to happen again so you start
thinking about this thing and the body might start giving you the feeling of that reaction that you had that bothered you.
