you think adding some veggies would work?
She said
she thinks adding veggies is great, but needs more ideas about how to get more vegetables in her diet without having to scour recipe books.

I don't
think I am getting the right nutrition, so I am going to
add more fruits and
veggies (so, higher carbs) but I don't
think I will go back to the way I was eating.
For those of you that are green juice addicts I should say that I've tried
adding some greens to this, but it made the flavour a little strange so I
think it's best to stick with the sweeter
veggies and a little fruit.
But you can use other herbs that you might like as well,
thinking thyme, basil and you can also
add other
veggies as well like red potatoes but you need to adjust the cooking time.
I
think the soup broth could definitely be made in advance and / or frozen, but I'm not sure about the
add ins... The soba,
veggies and tofu are all pretty delicate and I would be worried about freezing them and things getting weird / soggy.

added lots of extra
veggies (zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper, extra tomatoes) because I had them... and just wanted to say THANK YOU because somehow this meal accomplished 2 things I previously
thought impossible: 1) make my 3 year old voluntarily eat vegetables (he ate every different kind, amazing) 2) make both my children eat a «mixed - up» casserole.
Obviously I've always known that cheese is magical, but for some reason, I never
add it to
veggies and I
think that would help my husband, too!
Another way would be to chop up or shred
veggies and
add to dishes that you may not
think normally «go» with the dish.
I never
think to
add nuts to cooked
veggies but I

veggies so it came out as more of a stew, but this recipe was still soo tasty.

You can saute the
veggies on the stove first if you like (I

adds to the flavor), but honestly I usually don't bother with that step when I make things in the slow cooker.

veggies) A few sprigs of fresh thyme and some chopped parsley A splash of EVOO, sherry vinegar and freshly chopped herbs (I like to use fresh basil and chives) when serving... while this is optional, I
