I think black pumps are must - haves in every lady's closet.
Not exact matches
I originally
thought about pairing the two with a pair of
black skinny jeans and some sky high
pumps, but
thought it would be fun to find a way to wear this outfit to work.
My denim is from HM and to complete the look I'm wearing my Tamaris winered
pumps, my «time - turner» necklace and my
black shades (which I bought at my local drugstore, but I
think they are so fab!).
Think white shirts, trench coats, Breton striped tops,
black pumps, ballet flats... the pieces that always seem to comprise those «10 Items Every Woman Must Own» lists.
I immediately knew I wanted to wear my
black over the knee boots with this beauty but also
think it will easily transition into spring with
pumps or wedges.
That must have been
thought when she suited up for Fashion Rocks in Brooklyn in a
black leather lapel blazer, pants and
pumps, but skipped a formal top in favor of flaunting her metallic bra, which matches her envelope clutch.
Recently, I've been on the hunt for some classic
black pumps, so I'm totally
thinking about snatching those ones up.

For example, you might consider that a
black pair of
pumps would be a staple, but it's not always immediately apparent if a particular pair will have true longevity; over time, you might come to realize that it's not as comfortable as you originally
thought, or as durable, or even as versatile (due to heel height, toe shape, etc.).
To that I paired my classic

pumps, and I
think this look is something both eye - catching but still very wearable!

think it would look super sleek paired with

When I first saw it, I
thought it would be cute with simple
black pumps with a slim heel.

think having a few colorful
pumps in your closet are great for days when you want something different than a basic
black or nude heel.

think of it, they're still the most expensive pair of shoes I've ever purchased out of pocket (along with a pair of
black pumps I still wear, which allowed me to take advantage of the 2 - for - 1 sale at the time).
Well, I'm
thinking it would be pretty cheeky layered under a standard
black blazer + cigarette trousers at the office, or even tucked into a pencil skirt and worn with a
black suede
pump.
Green, of course, is harder to wear than cobalt, but I
think there are a lot of opportunities — try it with navy, gray,
black, even a smidgen of dark purple (hello, purple
pumps).
Every gal needs a great
black pump and I'm all for investment pieces (yeah, you know I'm hinting at those Loubs you've been
thinking about)-- but these defo didn't break the bank.
Finallly, I was orginially
thinking going with
black pumps, but let me just say if you ever find patterned
pumps that you like and have mulitple colors in them.
I'm
thinking a slicked back high ponytail, long vintage chanel necklace, and some
black pumps for a christmas party or night out in Dallas.
But if you're
thinking of a more casual look, swap the
pumps with
black lace - up boots or better yet, nude strap sandals.
There is a
black triangle on the back of the shoe which I didn't care for personally (also on the d'orsay
pump version), but I didn't
think it was distracting nor a dealbreaker.

Copy Olivia Palermo and harden them with a pair that is cut from a tough material, like
black leather, and add edgy accessories (
think: mesh
pumps and chain - link jewelry).
Shoes and accessories are going to be key in making this more «professional» and less «comfortable» —
think traditional
black pumps (shined and in good shape, of course), and perhaps a thick, heavy bangle.
