Just remember, the bigger the foods you want to grow (
think cucumbers and tomatoes) the bigger the pots you'll need.

I
think this is one of the best pasta salad recipes ever because it is full of tasty, colorful vegetables — red
and green bell peppers, cherry
tomatoes,
cucumber, marinated artichoke hearts, kalamata olives —
and dressed with a tangy vinaigrette.
When I
think summertime, I
think about
cucumbers and tomatoes.
I added artichoke hearts as well; now that the summer produce is coming to life a little more, I
think some other nice additions could be fresh red bell pepper,
cucumber,
and / or
tomato.
If I'm in a super hurry
and can't
think or make anything, I'll have 1 avocado +
cucumber +
tomato with a little olive oil, squirt of lemon juice,
and salt
and pepper.
Think: quinoa,
cucumbers, carrots, black beans,
and, when they're in season, little cherry

tomatoes (technically fruit but who's counting), small bell peppers with seeds removed... Fruit: Grapes, strawberries, blueberries, fresh pineapple wedges, melon, banana chips, prunes, dried apricots... Grains: Mini pretzels, homemade muffins, whole - wheat crackers, mini bagels with jam.

thought it was very timely that I just stumbled across an article about storing
cucumbers...
Banish any
thoughts of limp lettuce
and a few blobs of
tomato and cucumber.
Though
thought to be right on the blurred line between fruit
and vegetable, the pumpkin is comparable to
tomatoes,
cucumbers, eggplants
and other seed - producing fruits that are commonly mistaken for vegetables.
But I
think parsley or basil would do great in this,
and my mother has both in her garden, as well as
cucumbers,
tomatoes and jalapenos!
You can build a traditional sandwich with lettuce,
tomato,
cucumber and other goodies in the middle, or you can make them open - face with toppings like thinly sliced
tomatoes, jalepeños, sprouts, lime zest, a slice of hard - boiled egg, or anything else you can
think of.
