«So, it's that time of the year again» — my
thought when I freeze in the morning when going to
work and am way to warmly
dressed in the afternoon when the sun comes out.
I came across the picture above of a yellow gingham pinafore style
dress which I liked, from one of my sewing books, and I also remembered this
dress from that Solanah of Vixen Vintage wore a few years back that I had on my list of «
dresses to make», and I
thought that I could make this
dress work.
I guess I'm more apple shaped than I
thought and this
dress does not
work with that body type.
I have similar pants I've had and
think I'm wearing them for Easter if the weather doesn't

Not only does a maxi
dress work on you, I
think its one of my favorite looks since following your blog.
If you're really nervous, you could cut the legs several inches lower and then mark the line along your body or on a
dress form, but frankly I
think this way
works just as well and takes a lot less time.
Now I
work from home and sometimes get
