Since each perspective is partial and limited, we
think that
none gets the real or objective
picture of New York.
The jury's still out, because while there's an awful lot
of grenade - chucking in the last hour
of the
picture,
none of it looks particularly football - like (or athletic come to
think of it) despite the deadly accuracy
of each toss aimed at the hapless commie combatants.
Even though almost
none of the critics who saw Lion at this year's festivals
thought it was more than just OK, the movie is almost universally expected to earn a Best
Picture nomination.
Seeing as how the first joke involves Stern's Max dressed as a relic
of the Seventies, and seeing as how the
picture was actually released in 1995, the shipwreck is cumulatively several years past its «sell by» date (and was
none too fresh upon its original release, come to
think of it).
But where is the mains adapter, there is
none, if I actually read the box instead
of taking a
picture and looking at the what I
thought was the priority, I would have noticed something.
None of us can see the gameplay (most important part
of any game) from the
pictures, but I don't
think that is something to worry about.
But what sets the animations below apart, I
think, is that
none of them paint an overly rosy
picture of the future.
Or maybe it has something to do with being a thirty - something, and the feelings that go along with knowing that you can spend part
of this day at a flea market or yard «saling», or taking
pictures, or watching college football, or dreaming up plans for the future —
none of which I
thought about too much when I was a kid, a college student or a twenty - something.
To
think none of this would have happened if Nathan Fillion HAD posted a
picture of himself with twine!
