of pumps would be a staple, but it's not always immediately apparent if a particular pair will have true longevity; over time, you might come to realize that it's not as comfortable as you originally
thought, or as durable, or even as versatile (due to
heel height, toe shape, etc.).
If I get them, I would not be able to wear them until late October / early November and it would be something that I would wear only four months a year (not 8 months as it might be your case), and I said that after having to replace about half
of my shoes last year, footwear was not going to be a priority this year, BUT in my defense, I have only one other pair
of booties (an old
black pair with a three - inch
heel that I don't wear that often), metallic footwear has been a workhorse for me and the light color (as opposed to
black) makes me
think they a good option for my mild winters, and they would provide a lot
of joy per wear.
I almost didn't go for
black boots because I didn't want them to look out
of place with the ivory sweater and light wash denim, but I
think the natural wood
heel helps them not look so heavy.
In this case though, a sweater and
heels is all you need i opted for jeans, but could have easily paired these
black numbers with a plaid skirt (need, come to
think of it) or any skirt for that matter or a pair
of black slacks.
Shoe wise, I
think you can style the suede skirt with a whole array
of shoe styles, as you'll see from my looks above I tend to opt for a simple
black ankle boot, a pair
of chic (and lace up)
heels or
of course the knee high boot.
I never
think of pairing my
black heels and bag with an all white dress, but I love the look here, so I will have to try it Can I ask where your

Think thin wrap dresses with a ruffled hem (in polka dots, small print florals, and colors like red and
black), 90's blue jeans, boyfriend tees, kitten
heels, basket bags, all thrown together in an «undone» kind
of way.
The ankle strap
heels are by Nordstrom Rack but I
think any brand
of black heels would look terrific with the dress.
Also I have the hots for stocking and this one is my current favorite so I added a hint
of British charm with
black stockings and a light pink pair
