I immediately found myself
thinking along the lines
of hot chocolate because for me that is the definition
of marshmallows and
chocolate.
During my afternoon slump, where I particularly craved something sweet, I simply made a cup
of hot chocolate with my cacao powder,
hot milk or dairy substitute (I
think rice milk tastes best) and little bit
of sweetener and seemed to feel satisfied.
I was recently lucky enough to win a hamper
of Freedom Mallows (vegetarian marshmallows) via an Instagram contest and whilst impatiently waiting for them to arrive in the post, I
thought of all the things I could make with the marshmallows... Smores,
hot chocolate, rocky road and my favourite: rice krispie treats!
The
thought of sweater weather, golden leaves, and
hot chocolate is making me giddy!
We would never have
thought of adding fruit to
hot chocolate, but this combination has made us
think twice.
Think of it
of as a salted caramel
hot chocolate getting together with a peppermint mocha... a chocolaty, heavenly marriage
of salty and sweet!
Oh I simply love

thought of tea with syrup or honey or sugar is a no - no for me.
I
think I'll go make me a cup
