I LOVE
open shelving, but just don't
think they're the most practical
in a small

think a wall with windows is a dead space but
in this
kitchen, placing the
open shelves in front of the windows provides extra storage and creates a striking design feature.
Although the
open shelving in the one
kitchen, while I like it alot, it's so high that I
think even if I stood on the countertop I couldn't reach the top
shelf!
I have two areas of

think I'd ever go back to all closed up.

thought I'd share an honest review of
open shelving.
As we were setting up our first bit of Christmas decor before Thanksgiving, I
thought back to how we had decorated our
