It really ends up being a mix, but
I think overall my bias is to find individual lawyers who I have great relationships with and who I trust and to allow that to be my first kind of fore into working with a firm.

But then again, reinvesting in a growing company at a fair price instead might well deliver a better
overall return, so I
think it depends equally on your
bias (es) & priorities as an investor.
Right now I'm leaning towards booking the Marriott because the guys on Flyertalk seem to
think it's pretty good (they're not normally overly
biased), I like the
overall look of the property and I'll get even closer to the Lifetime Platinum status I'm chasing.
I would agree that the
overall bias isn't huge (in terms of resulting AGW) but I
think it would be better for a number of reasons to deal with the problem rather than try to excuse it.
This is a cognitive
bias where the
overall impression of a person influences how one
thinks about that person's character.
It's not perfect by any means, but
overall, I
think it's gosh darn pretty (and not just because I'm slightly
biased at seeing Kodak moments of my little family).
